CAST Membership
Why Join Cast? As a member…
- You’ll receive advance notice of all CAST activities, which are usually held monthly, and receive a discount on attendance fees. Activities include informational programs and networking opportunities.
- You’ll get access to a directory of CAST members, available through the Web site as a .pdf. This tool, which includes contact information, is helpful for networking and for finding people who can offer advice on communications challenges.
- Only CAST members may participate in Genesis, the annual awards competition that has been a local tradition since 1990. Genesis recognizes outstanding achievement in many areas of communications.
- All members receive a membership certificate to show their commitment to professionalism in the field of communications.
- Members electing to belong to both CAST and the IAPHC – The Graphic Professionals Resource Network (IAPHC) receive additional benefits from IAPHC, Inc. These include opportunities to network with more than 4,500 industry professionals worldwide on employment, equipment, technology, management and legal matters. IAPHC publishes TMN, an industry focused newsletter specifically published for IAPHC members. It also offers Craftnet, an award-winning Web site designed to serve the needs of IAPHC members.
Annual Dues
Annual CAST dues are:
- Individual - $15
- Student - $10
- Organization (three members from same organization) - $40
- Organization Plus - $40 for the first three members, $10 for each additional member
- Individual Dual (CAST and IAPHC, Inc.) - $75
Membership is for a calendar year and is not transferable.

How to Become a Member
To join CAST, please print out the membership application posted here as a .pdf and complete all the required information. Then submit the completed application, along with a check for your annual dues made payable to CAST. Send them to: Karen Frobel, CAST Secretary, Riger Advertising, PO Box 1623, Binghamton, NY 13902-1623.
